Here’s some dating advice for modern women. “Know where the men you’re looking for are coming from before you go out with them!”.

While dating can be a confusing and sometimes awkward experience for many women, things can get a whole lot less complicated if you make an effort to understand what most guys are searching for in a date or possibly a long-term relationship. And, more importantly, what are they thinking about modern women and dating?

Now, be assured girls, not all men think this way, but it’s certainly becoming a trend of thought gaining acceptance in male circles! And, if some of the following beliefs held by men about modern women dating are applicable to you, maybe you need to re-think what image you’re conveying out there on the dating scene.

What things do many men believe that today’s modern woman thinks and wants in a dating situation?

Belief #1 Women have changed their attitude and approach to dating.

While it’s great that women have come a long way in the last few decades, in terms of gaining independence, equality and power, many men have the opinion that women not only want to have their cake but, eat it too! They want it all, without taking responsibility for it.

Belief #2 Women crave equal pay checks, but, at what price?

Women want to make just as much or more money than men make, but, oddly enough, these very same women expect the guy to pay the bill when they go out.

Belief #3 The independent woman conundrum!

Women want to have their freedom, albeit when it’s convenient for them! They expect their man to drop everything and be there when they need him, but reciprocal rights are deemed subserviant!

Belief #4 What happened to femininity?

A lot of men feel that women aren’t acting like women anymore. They miss the softer, more feminine woman of yesteryear who they feel has been replaced by a brash, uncompromising and calculating 21st century counterpart!

While you may think these beliefs held by men about modern women and dating are a bit over the top, or simply just not true, I challenge you to ask around…you might be startled by what you find out.

Now, I’m sure that what I’ve written will have angered many women. And, at the same time, I’m quite sure there will be many guys out there who’ll totally relate to the kind of modern woman I’ve illustrated.
