Christian Dating for Interracial Singles – Problems and Issues
Specialized online dating venues, such as Christian dating sites, are becoming popular as many singles try to find suitable love-matches more in line with their specific relationship needs. Online dating can be a complicated matter as it is, and you would think that niche dating sites like this might make things at least a little bit easier.
Most certainly, in some ways, special online dating sites, like the ones catering for those of the Christian religion do help in making things more convenient. But, when someone has very specific requirements in a partner, those specific requirements can make finding a suitable relationship match somewhat difficult.

Let’s take, for example, a person who is a Christian and is seeking a Christian partner. Sounds simple enough, but, to make things a little bit harder, this potential dater also prefers their partner to be of a different ethnic heritage. How difficult can it be to find Christian dating interracial singles who are actively seeking a similar mate?
The Problems and Issues of “Interracial Christian Dating”.
Relationship expert and internet author, Wendell K. Cribbs, states,
“I think we all probably recognize the fact that ethnic and religious issues can complicate the dating equation these days. Finding a suitable mate from a wide open field of choices is tough enough. But when you narrow your search down so specifically, such as those who are Christian dating interracial singles looking for others with the same religious background and same attraction for a different ethnicity, things can get even tougher. Some call it being picky, but I call it being able to find your own best match“.
A good example is Rashan, a 34-year-old professional single woman who is the mother of three young children. Rashan is a devout Christian who is completely uncompromising about her religious beliefs and values.
Complicating matters for Rashan, who is of African-American heritage, is that she’s primarily attracted to Caucasian men. That makes Rashan a Christian dating interracial single who is looking for someone who not only shares her passion for religion, but is also open to dating members of a different ethnic origin.
“It can be really hard,” Rashan says. “I meet a lot of single guys at church, but they’re not my type. I’m just not attracted to black men, I find myself more drawn to men who are white. That means that I have a hard time finding men who have the same religious beliefs that I do and also meet my definition of a man I’m physically attracted to“.
Rashan illustrates well the problem that confronts both women and men like her; Christian dating interracial singles who face an uphill battle to find a suitable partner who meets all of their specific relationship requirements.
At times, it may seem like a little compromise in their relationship demands may be the best way to go to help improve their social lives, but relationship expert Cribbs warns that this might not be a good move as it can complicate matters further down the track.
“Don’t try to change who you are,” Cribbs states. “In the long run, it won’t be healthy for your relationship. If you’re a Christian dating interracial single, don’t be afraid to go after exactly who you want in a mate“.
As you can see, interracial Christian dating can pose problems. Do you agree with Wendell K. Cribbs or do you think he’s being unrealistic in his approach? Maybe you’ve had some experience with dating issues involving religion and ethnic heritage and would like to share your views. Go ahead, add your comments.

Thanks for your comment, Amit.
I’m of the opinion that if it’s a subject being discussed widely over the ‘net, and it is, then obviously it’s a topic that’s causing concern with many folks.
If I’m able to shed any light on the subject/difficulties of Christian interracial dating and get people talking about it openly, then I’m happy
It can pose problems yes.It is best of course for anyone to date and marry within their race.Society has the problem I know, but in that it creates you a problem.but love is so blind.and you cant run from love.
