I found a video tape of my “boyfriend” of five years and a female in MY home in an very hurtful act to me. I was told by him I DROVE HIM TO IT. What am I supposed to do? I know that I have said some hurtful things, not shown physical affection on a daily basis or as much as I should have , but all in all I am a good mother and partner. The above advise is great and we will be seeking counseling but I don’t think I am going to ever be able to trust him again. I have never cheated and I was always blamed for being a cheater. No matter what a person does in the relationship cheating is never the answer. If you are unhappy in your relationship and talking doesn’t fix the problem then I think you should leave rather than cheating.

Great points. It is indeed hard to build trust after cheating. The most important point should be to be open to questions and sharing information and be ok with grilling from the partner.

Great post! Cheating is a bad thing, I can understand forgiving someone who is unfaithful but according to me its never okay to step out with someone else if you are in committed relationship.
